People want to say they arrived, but often remember too late
After a commute, trip, meeting, hotel arrival or visit, a simple message like "I am here" can be easy to forget. At the destination, the user often needs to park, find an entrance, carry luggage or switch to the next task.
Live location sharing is not always needed for this situation. The user may only want a private reminder, so they can send a prepared message to parents, friends or someone close to them.
Three steps: destination, contact and arrival message
Arrival Reminder uses a simple flow: one destination, one contact and one message. The user chooses an arrival point, sets a radius of 1 km, 3 km or 5 km, selects a contact and writes the message text.
When the phone gets near the selected area, the app shows an arrival notification. Tapping Send opens the prepared message in SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, Signal, Viber or another supported messaging app. The user sends the message manually; the app does not send it automatically.
The app also supports favorite trips for repeated destinations and an optional shortcut to open navigation in Google Maps or Waze.
Android app published on Google Play
The app is available on Google Play and helps people remember to send an arrival message based on location. It is useful for family, friends, commuting, travel, school, airports, meetings and visits.
The user does not need to share live location or start family tracking. They only need a reminder near the destination and a prepared message they send themselves.
